Died: May 14, 2007 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Unit: Marines, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Incident: Killed in Anbar Province while conducting combat operations.

Cpl. William G. Taylor
Hometown: Macon, Georgia, U.S.
Age: 26 years old
Died: November 30, 2005 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Unit: Marines, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Incident: Killed by small-arms fire while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Fallujah.

Sgt. Kelley L. Courtney
Hometown: Macon, Georgia, U.S.
Age: 28 years old
Died: October 30, 2004 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Unit: Marines, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Hawaii
Incident: Killed when a car bomb detonated next to a truck in Anbar province.

Spec. Daniel E. Gomez
Hometown: Warner Robbins, Georgia, U.S.
Age: 21 years old
Died: July 18, 2007 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Unit: Army, 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany.
Incident: Killed when his vehicle was attacked by enemy forces using a makeshift bomb and small arms fire.

Master Sgt. Davy N. Weaver
Hometown: Barnesville, Georgia, U.S.
Age: 39 years old
Died: May 18, 2008 in Operation Enduring Freedom.
Unit: Army, 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Georgia Army National Guard, Macon, Ga.
Incident: Killed when his vehicle encountered a makeshift bomb in Qalat, Afghanistan. |
